What manual transmission would of been in a 1966 Chevy C10?

My buddy's had some lame 3speed in his. I believe it is of the Muncie family.

how does the old muncie 3 speed stack up against a saginaw 3 speed?

My buddy has the muncie 3spd in his 64, with 430+/- hp at the wheels on a ford 9inch and it holds up great, no problems at all.

3 speeds were saginaws as I recall and granny 4 spds were sm420's.
