View Full Version : Bought a 1990 Burb
I bought this 1990 Burb in round rock for $2500 (no kidding he was asking $3000) The interior is mint and has a new headliner and he installed a nice pioneer cd player about a year ago for his wifes b-day. The transmission was rebuilt about 8 months ago and all of the AC components have been replaced, hoses, compressor, dryer, orifice tube etc. and it blows ICE cold from the front and rear. It also has recently had a major tune up and was re-painted 2 years ago (cheap job but decent). He gave me all of the receipts and maintenance records plus the original window sticker too. I think I got real lucky finding this one, because the guy took extrememly good care of it. This has become my new daily driver and I really like it.
1990 Chevy Silverado Suburban,5.7, 700r4, 3.42 rear with posi, towing package and power mirrors.

upgrade the rear to a 14 bolt, do a few basic mods and use it for a tow rig for the 4x4 I know you want to build :rocking:
BTW thats a really clean truck, youve found some amazing deals on vehicles in the past year!

Looks really nice, clean .. did you get another set of wheels to match your truck, or take the ones off your truck?
No I just swapped these off my 85. I wanted to see what my truck looked like with the stock ralley wheels for more of a streetrod look :insane:

Thanks, I think I will keep them, what size tire do you think I should run?
It currently has 255/70/15 but I dont like the high sidewall, I was thinking 275/60/15 and tirerack has these Kumho's on special at $75 ea (http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Kumho&tireModel=ECSTA+STX&vehicleSearch=false&partnum=76HR5ESTX&fromCompare1=yes) :D

A 275/60/15 would probably fit/look perfect and at that price, you can't go wrong. :head:
