Ok i have a 99 silverado 2wd. reg. cab swb 5.3 auto. I have a tb spacer, airaid intake, hypertech programmer. i wanna run true duals with 2.5'' pipes from where the y-pipe is cut it off and run them from there to 40 series orig. mufflers out the back with 2.5''/4'' 18'' slash cut tips straight out the back or out the sides at 45 deg. or just run pipe right after the rear end and leave it like that or cut it off right before the rear bumper?? I just wanna know how it wiill sound at idle( deep and quiet rumble), while im driving around town( mainly deep and kinda loud?), and then when i floor it from a stop CLEAR TO THE FLOOR ( VERY MEAN and AGRESSIVE dont fuck with me sound????)??? My friend has the same truck except a diff. color and a k&n intake but everything else the same and ( in the parenthesis) are how is sound BUT im NOT SURE ABOUT THE LAST ONE where it says when i floor it cause i THINK i heard him one night and the sound was verrry mean and agressive sound that said dont fuck with me, but yea i am just wandering if anyone can tell me if that will be how it sounds.. Hope someone can help on here cause no one wants to help or something on FSC and chevytruckworld or LS1tech. I just hope someone can help me out with the sounds and times i described. I just wanna know if thats how its gonna sound and stuff nothing else thats all . thanks :bowtie:

Anyone have sound clips of their trucks with flows on it preferably 99-04 5.3 auto with true duals out the back with 40 series flows and maybe the clip is revving from behind like a foot or so and maybe a nice pedal to the floor from a stop and someone standing like a foot away or so and let it wind out.,...... thanks

You're gonna lose a good deal of low end power with a true dual setup on a 5.3 FYI.
Also, ya may wanna consider selling the TB spacer and HPP3 for some stuff that'll add some noticable power gains. A custom tune is a great place to start, then I'd go to some full length headers.

My friend didnt loose any lowend with his true duals and his truck will fuckin straight up get and shit off the line and then from there u are at the end of the speedometer and dont know how fast ur going and it comes up pretty damn quick too. I will only have this truck for around 4 years and then im gonna get rid of it and get me a surburban and put 24's or 26's on it or go to a cadillac car or something so thats why im just puttign the hypertech on it cause if i got a tune what in the hell would i do with it after i get rid of my truck?? So im just gonna go with what i said. thanks for everyones help. Still need to know if it will be really mean, agressive, deep soudn when i floor it from a stop with 40 series orig. flows and true duals with 2.5'' pipes out the back ot 2.5''/4'' 18'' long angle cut tips???????? thanks

Well what if i cut off my pipes right after the rearend? Or if i dump them how loud will they be both ways compared to pipes ran out the back and if u can tell me how it will sound all three ways when im driving around town or stick it on the floor from a stop or just accelerating a lil quicker than regular. thanks

If you wanted me too, i could make a soundclip of my truck. Its running a 2.25" pipe to the inlet, then it hops up to a 2.75" outlet with (2) flowmaster original 40 series and turnsdown right after the axle...sure its an OBS but you'd get a general idea.
