In another thread some of us 96-98 guys expressed interest in a Group Buy.
Is there any way we can get one of these going? Of course for everybody 96+
I guess we should start a list if he says he will do it.
You know the drill. Copy and add your name.

im sure he will require 10 people pay a deposit before he allows a special price.
that is even if he is interested in it.

$150/$200 seems pretty damn reasonable for what you get from him as it is, he doesnt need GB's to attract customers :imo
yeah it'd be nice to save some cash but hes already cheaper then anyone else whos worth a damn. a blackbear tune is on my todo list though.

I do believe prices for the BlackBear tunes will be going up soon. In light of that, we have actually been thinking of doing a Group Buy. This would not include scan cable tunes. More details to follow as we hash this all out. In the meantime, feel free to sign up on the list and I will make a new thread as soon as we have everything laid out.

A new thread will be started to get a list when details on the Group Buy are made available.
Prices are going up because I spend it like it is going out of style!!:tongue:
In all seriousness though, the shipping prices have been going up, and we have never touched the prices. We really haven't kept pace with inflation.
BlackBear Performance was never started with the intentions of it being a money maker. Justin had a passion for trucks and tuning and was in it just for the challenge. The price increase will be minimal and will reflect the need for Justin and I (this is not our full time jobs) to put more time into the tuning business. :shake:

i cant join the group buy, cuz i already got one, but good move on getting it guys, i picked up quite a lot more then i thought i would, so if ur thinking about adding power, do it, easiest way to add power. and a good amount too

what tune did you get?
JennaBear
10-08-2008, 07:12 PM
There will not be group buys on cables being that there is always a waitlist. There is no waitlist for a traditional tune, so you could get the regular price right now and not need a deposit.

what tune did you get?
i got a 87 octane tune. use normal stuff he does on the mail order, except i asked for more pressure to the 1-2 clutch, cuz mine slipped

10-08-2008, 07:16 PM
what are the questions like on the traditional tune? like how much i tow stuff and what not?
Ginger
