at the shop we use a cold cut saw and a band saw for bigger stuff. A cold saw similar to this one would be money well spent :imo

that all depends on how much you enjoy fabbing with cuts suppose to be strait but end up 10-18 degrees

same priciple but i've never seen one used for the other.

i have a 14" dewalt chop saw. works well but cuts on thick pieces always leave some flashing, which is easy to knock off on the grinder. the bigger and more powerful the better, you don't want to have to flip the piece over.
