Any idea how the VRT works with M/T's? The sponge wouldn't be very fun to apply dressing to the sidewall, but I'm tired of dressing slinging on my paint.

Super VRT is water based, so you can make it into a sprayable dressing by cutting it with water. The only problem is that this significantly cuts down on the gloss and its already a low gloss dressing to begin with.

What a lot of our customers do is apply it with the app to the areas they can with the sponge, then use a small amount diluted with water to spray around the tread details. Then wipe with a towel to remove excess.

Not ideal, but if thats the kind of tire you're dealing with its the only solution we have at the moment.

On my truck I would use the circle sponge to dress most of the tire and then take the other sponge and cut it into smaller pieces in the hard to get spots. It took time but it was well worth it because any other dressing was easier to put on but as soon as I pulled out of the drive way it was all over my truck.

This isn't just some extension cord... this is the mother of all cords, built in the USA with detailers in mind!

12/3 Gauge Cord:
At a 50ft length most tool manufactures recommend a 16 gauge cord... 14 would've been better, but if its worth doing - do it right... we went all the way to a 12 gauge cord so power will never be an issue for your car dryers, polishers, vacuums or other detailing tools. Using too small a cord for the run can result not only in lowered performance from the tool, but overheating and damage! With this beast of a cord that'll never be a concern.

Integrated GFCI:
Sometimes we forget to think about safety in our own garage... you feel comfortable there, but it only takes one accident to make things go horribly wrong. Since detailing is often a 'wet' activity either from the wash itself or water dripping and pooling in your garage after a wash it only makes sense to use a ground fault circuit interrupter. As a cord dedicated for detailing we made sure this is integrated into the head of the cord so you don't have to worry about it! If you use the Universal Pad Washer or any of the car dryers this is almost a necessity.

Waterproof:
Taking the safety aspect further the terminations at the GFCI and female ends are both water tight. The cord wrapping is also water proof to make sure shorting out is never an issue. No splash, inadvertent spray from the hose, or spill will risk you or your tools safety!

Industrial Grade:
The exterior insulation coating is over 2.5x thicker than that used on your average extension cord. That means its more abrasion resistant as well as cut resistant. If this cord gets run over, pinched, dragged, scraped, no matter what... it will hold up to the abuse!

Hey Dylan, I'm gonna run my black Monsters year round and we've got some nasty road shit up here in Washington in the winters. It's a de-icer spray that get put down and its awful on chrome. Will this quick sealant on these black wheels help protect them during winter? Thanks!

They're likely spraying magnesium chloride... quick sealant would buy you some time, but NOTHING is going to hold up long to mag chloride long term unfortunately.

Generally, all ice melters work in the same way by depressing the freezing point of ice or snow and turning the mixture into a liquid or semi-liquid slush. A number of state highway departments throughout the United States have decreased the use of rock salt and sand on roadways and have increased the use of solutions of magnesium chloride (often called "liquid magnesium chloride") as a de-icer or anti-icer. Magnesium chloride is less toxic to plant life surrounding highways and airports, and is less corrosive to concrete and steel (and other iron alloys) than sodium chloride. Nevertheless, magnesium chloride (CAS# 7786-30-3), calcium chloride (CAS# 010043-52-4) and sodium chloride (CAS# 007647-14-5) can be slightly toxic when applied directly in large amounts to grass, bushes, and trees. Airports prefer potassium compounds such as potassium acetate as a deicer instead of chloride salts because it offers the advantage of being less aggressive on soils and is much less corrosive, and for this reason it is preferred for airport runways. It is, however, more expensive.The liquid magnesium chloride is sprayed on dry pavement (tarmac) prior to precipitation or wet pavement prior to freezing temperatures in the winter months to prevent snow and ice from adhering and bonding to the roadway. The application of anti-icers is utilized in an effort to improve highway safety. Magnesium chloride is also sold in crystal form for household and business use to de-ice sidewalks and driveways. In these applications, the compound is applied after precipitation has fallen or ice has formed, instead of previously. Factors to consider for any anti-icer / de-icer product include (1) amount needed to be effective, (2) time needed to react and go into solution, (3) how long it will provide de-icing action (e.g., longer means fewer reapplications), (4) effectiveness of temperature range (magnesium chloride is 5 degrees F), and (5) environmental aspects such as residues, effects on plant life and effects on concrete. Purchasing and use decisions should be carefully considered since anti-icing and de-icing performance capabilities of common ice melting compounds vary significantly.
The use of magnesium chloride seems to show an improvement in driving conditions during and after freezing precipitation, but it can (1) damage electric utilities in two ways: (a) by contamination of insulators, causing tracking and arcing across them, and (b) by corrosion of steel and aluminium poles and pole hardware and (2) it may accelerate damage to vehicle components through accelerated corrosion.

Its hard to get a ton of enhancement out of white. Depth simply isn't a characteristic of that color. Its kind of like trying to make a a salmon filet taste like a hamburger... it isn't really a characteristic of a piece of fish. No matter how much seasoning you throw at it in the end it will still taste like fish.

White simply isn't a deep color, so trying to make it look deep with wax is the same kind of idea. Instead what you should be doing is trying to play up the strengths of white - bright, reflection, and shine.

Sealants fit that bill better.

Now thats not to say that you won't see a nice gloss and shine from using buttery or americana on white, just don't expect the drastic enhancement in depth/gloss you would see on a color like black or blue.

Now - in terms of protection and durability, obviously sealants are going to be the better choice here. If you're looking at waxes Americana is going to outlast Buttery by about 2x.

Great response Dylan, thank you. I currently have applied Machine sealant with the PC, and a coat of Meguiars "Caranuba Plus" wax that i got as a gift. The wax seems to suit it fine, like you said i didn't get much more "wow" out of it but just an added layer of protection I suppose. How long will super machine sealant last if i wash the truck once a week

C'mon guys... I could take a picture of a brick wall from that angle inside a garage and get a reflection. Thats not even close to representative of depth or real shine:

True representation of gloss and reflectivity is from dead on shooting in full lighting, not at a steep angle to the panel and from shadow into light. These are reflections in metallic silver... probably even harder to do than white.

Got it today. I put the Toby Keith poster in my garage, warmed up the burrito (tasted ok), and will use the $5 bill for scratch offs. Overall, this special has exceeded my expectations.

Oh.. Ya I got bummed out on the first one just cause it didn't even add up to what the minimum value for the mystery box was. I was also excited seeing everyone else's with the little accessories like stickers, mints and the screen cleaners, but i just 2 bottles, one which I got a gallon of the week before. So yeah, my high hopes weren't reached. But they corrected it and I was stoked.
