A group of us went back to the site of the tragic event just short of the two year anniversary and placed the plaque Ken was nice enough to have made. We found a spot just off the water right where we were camped that day with a great view. Everybody pitched in and beat the granite stone into submission as we punched the holes for the mounting studs and cleaned the face for the epoxy.

The view as seen from the plaque itself. Waterfront with sunsets and rises forever.

What a thoughtful memorial, and a stunning location.

Unfortunately, I only know of Jason thru the thoughts posted here by others. But for someone so young to have so many caring friends speaks volumes for him, his talents and his character.

This was an extremely nice gesture. :shake:

Jason's dad, Ken, is going to be floored when he sees this. Very nice gesture guys.

I was always very proud of my son and I'm now very proud of all my adopted sons and daughters who called Jason their friend.
