i'm in the process of paintin my tailgate cap, tailgate handle bezel, and front and rear bumper pads....now i just need some ideas for the mirrors, i can't decide if a want to put chrome covers on them and paint the housing pewter to match the truck or if i just want paint it all pewter....please post some pics or your different mirror ideas and combos....thanks

I think they look good with the housing colormatched, but the chrome left.
there was a place posted on here i think that had caps that went over the chrome;colormatched for like 55 bucks or something.

just paint the whole thing.....match it to your truck....thats classy :rocking:
Or just get a cheap painted mirror cap like me....(one of the first mods I did cause it was cheap.)

I went ahead and put a painted cap on unpainted stock mirrors. I like that look a lot. You requested pictures so here is what mine looks like:

But since you painted everything else, you might want to go with the whole mirror being painted...up to you...

Deton8ted, those look pretty tight. How did you get them painted like that? Did you take them to the dealer, or do it yourself? How much did it cost??
