Anyone make a ramp/winch to put their jetski in the bed of their truck?

probably pick the ski up with 2 guys? make a cradle for the hull out of wood and wrap it in something soft like the boat trailers have.

I built a little ramp out of SCH 40 PVC pipe. I also ordered a winch from ebay.

We used to just get 2 guys to lift into the back of the truck and then once at the lake just back the truck allway till the tailgates in the water.
But that PVC things looks pretty trick.

I have my little mini bass boat, prolly weighs about 200 lbs all loaded up. I just mounted a harbor freight 2000lb winch to the front of the bed with a big steel plate behind it to distribute the force. orks pretty well and makes it way easier to load the boat up when I am alone.
how much does a jetski weigh?

The boat ramps here in California are STEEP (the delta) it is hard to load it by myself. I got the ski half way up today on the PVC and it did not seem to mind it much. I have a hand crank winch coming from ebay, we will see how the PVC likes it then!

Buy a trailer. I think its tacky having a wave runner in the back of your pickup bed. Not to mention dunking the truck to get them in the water.

It is pointless to buy a trailer for one stand up + why have a truck that you don't use the bed! Not to mention the fact that I would have to drive 55 on the freeway with one. I just back down until the wheels just touch the water and stop. We will see how good this works, I may have to try out one of those hitch hullers to put the stand up on.

Thanks!

I didn't realize you were talking about a stand up and I forgot about that 55mph deal in Cali if you have any trailer. What a crock of shit. I never haul mine more than .68 miles so...
