Want to get some insight on a common problem on putting HIDs onto a Dodge. I had no idea there was such problems with them until I did some researching AFTER buying a set from DDM for a friend of mine. Its an 06 Ram with H13 bulbs that have the high and low beams in one bulb. After a quick google search, there's kits out there that claim to work on the newer Dodges but am unsure on the quality of some of those kits as well.

I've read about adding resistors onto the factory wiring harness, I think between one of the high or low beam wires and a ground wire. We're not worried if the 'bulb' indicator light is on. Just want working high and low beam HIDS. So if you have any insight on this problem and could help me and my friend out that would be great.

I heard this same thing before i bought mine, said they caused flickering, etc..

No problems. plugged em up and they worked fine. no resistors. over a year now no problems.

To the guy with no high beams, get a high low kit.

Almost all dodges require resistors. This will also rid your lamp out lights. I have them for $8 each if you want to hook them up yourself, or I can prewire them so they are plug and play.
