Cam and Shift Kit Install

How much does it usually cost to get a cam installed? shift kit? How hard is it to do yourself?

Allen said $350+ for the cam install. Not sure on the shift kit. Both are pretty invloved i would think, and I wouldnt try it myself...

i got a quote from a tranny shop for 75 dollars plus parts to do a shift kit for me in my truck. as for the cam, its gonna cost some money unless you do it your self, as aber said, its probably gonna be $350 plus. doing it your self will definatly save you all me money on labor but if you never done that before....i wouldnt suggest it.

A shift kit isn't really that hard as long as ya have a jack, patience, and a few tools to install it. (I'm referring to the Vette Servo and other shift kits that install in the side of the transmission.)
