You can get rid of em for a while, but they always come back. Unless you put your truck in a giant zip lock baggie.

Depending on the condition. Could be gotten out with a PC but might need a rotary.

:word: That's what I use/do anyway. Plus you have to keep them off. That's means using and washing with only good microfiber. But even that won't keep them all off. Plus you will never get rid of all of them! :anitoof:

i usually use meguiar glaze it makes it look really good and covers up most of the swirls my truck is black also so its real hard to keep it nice. near impossible to get rid of the swirl unless you put some time and money into it but you can cover them up for cheap.

you can only hide em for a certain period of time, it sucks. I use
claybar
3m prewax cleaner
3m finesse II or meguires Speed glaze
Then a good wax on top of that.
But it only last so long once you drive it/wash it/ touch it, it all comes back out.

even then some dust would probably accumulate in the bag, then one day the wind would blow ruffling the baggie against the paint and grinding around that dust that has settled on the surface, and BAM, swirls. Its a battle that will never be won.

I recently used a standard McGuires claybar, two coats of their NXT wax, one coat of the "After care spray wax" also by McGuires (NXT,) buffed it all out and no swirls. :hail: Oh yeah, also hit a few small areas with the McG's Scratch-X, that helps a lot as well. I guess from what y'all say they'll come back ..just have to wax it again.
:word: I use the meguiars NXT stuff and love it. I've used meguiars everything for the past 7 years w/ great results.

Don't use circular motions when ever you touch your paint Go with the lines of the truck when you wash, polish and wax.

For those who dare to use a high speed buffer to renew an oxidized or older surface...
Spur the pad often to keep the rubbing compound from matting the pad.
(It's nice to have a new pad for the final buff... with very little compound)
As you finish working an area take the weight off the buffer and let
the machine spin faster as you move the buffer faster across the panel
using the fine dust to final cut.
I usually cut @ 1800 RPM and finish @ 2000 RPM.
I like 3M swirl remover > NXT > 3M Glaze
