Anyone Else Have Probs with Skid Plates?

I took mine off for right now because it was torn to shreds. I have a piece of diamond plate cut that will replace it and the other one. Anyone else have this problem? What have you done?

Well, it doesn't sound like a problem...sounds like it did it's job...you've gotta expect that when you ride low. Any plate you put there will eventually get torn up....kinda what a skid plate is for.

i took my skid plate off and put my drag blocks right there so when i drag the front i throw sparks when i took mine off my was shredded to hell

I'd just leave mine off, but in the manual it says not to take it off for any long term periods. Ofcourse I'm not going to be driving my truck all that much. I wonder what it'd hurt if I just left it off

well it's not gunna hurt or help at all if it's off........ that is unless you bottom out there

i dont see anything wrong with it but just drag blocks or something there i wouldnt just keep dragging there with nothing there

ok, I'll just make a diamond plate skid plate for it then. I don't care for drag blocks really
