new fans

Me an a friend are about to install some electric fans on our new 04 chevy scsb 5.3s. But I was just wondering how many electric fans yall are running if you even are? I have heard you can run 1 or 2. But what is the truth? Anyone know from experiance? I belive it will still run good an cool with just 1 fan. Or is that a bad idea?

Depends on the fan, some run more CFM than others. Need something like this to replace the stock fan

Do a search for Permacool. I know they carry some fans that can compete with the flex-a-lites. Not sure of model years that they may have.

I'm running LS1 fans from a camaro on my truck without problems.

one is fine with the stock setup because it is always running and its huge...

but if your gonna throw in electric i would say definetly use a setup that has 2 fans, which i think everything that will fit the truck does have 2.
