Fixed my Cruise Control!

To be honest I would have never thought led's in the 3rd brake light would cause the cruise to not work. But after trying everything that costed money I figured why not try putting the regular lights back in and it worked. So DO NOT INSTALL LEDS IN THE 3RD BRAKE LIGHT OR YOUR CRUISE WILL NOT WORK. The computer sees the leds as a lamp failure and turns off the cruise control. It will also not work if you have a light out apperantly. This cost me a few hundred worth of a switch and a cruise control module before I figured it out.

I built a circuit board with leds for my 3rd brake light and ran into the same problem. I just added a couple 330 ohm (i think) resistors in parallel and that made it think there was a bulb there.

my cruise quit working today... fuses look good.. tranny shop just installed a vette servo... what the hell would that have to do with anything?
