That guy is a memeber of PavementSucks and was a member of FSC. He lives in Myrtle Beach SC. He use to have a PC lift+BL on 38's then did a SAS with 44's. Now I guess he has steped up to 49's.
He did wheel his truck when he had it on 44's. Came up my way a couple times I know of and wheeled it at Uwharrie Nat. park. That is where most of these pics of him in the woods were took.
Didnt know he had went up to 49's. Looks cool, wonder if he still wheelin it?

That truck is nuts, reminds me of all the trucks near me... tahoe on 44s, superduty that would tower above 49s, and a dodge slightly higher than the ford, those kids are crazy.
Sc Cowboy 4 Life
05-30-2004, 05:12 PM
i still do wheel it but not as much as i did with the 44's. and i did have my stock headlights in the bumper a while ago, but put them back up top and put some 7" round jeep headlights in there to look like fog-lights i thought it looked retarded myself.

He use to have the STOCK headlights in there. So they were cut to there shape. Now he has moved those back to the stock location and put the smaller lights in that location :read:

That thing looks ugly. Just not proportional. In pismo yesterday, I saw a HD with a SFA and 27" lift. It was on a trailer with the stocks on but 49's laying underneath it. My friend told me he clears them by a good amount.

Hey don't leave me out, my truck is ugly too!
ehhh but capable. i would not want to try crawling on 49s.
imo 49s are over the line for a RCSB. if it were an extended or quad cab or had an 8' bed it would look more proportional, but the 49s are overkill and make it look like a remote control truck you'd see at radioshack. lose the fender trim and find a new bumper and it wouldn't look bad.
Nicholas
06-02-2004, 01:16 AM
I don't really care for the 49s on a short truck like that...44s would look better, and i would imagine be better than 49s for every day drivin...i don't really see how anything above 42s would be very good for anything besides show tho...but thats just me...i don't ever wanna run anything bigger than 40s on any truck i own...

Oooo a little touchy are we? Don't worry i think my flames are ugly but atleast I'm smart enough to realize they are. You can't tell me that you think your truck is proportional? If it was ext cab maybe but even then I think you'd need a crew cab.
You can't build a truck like that and expect everyone to like it...

so your telling me you didn't build that truck for attention? Maybe for it's off road performance :anitoof: I'm sure you like lifted trucks but when you go that big, its just to say "my truck is bigger than your truck" Hell...any truck my size and bigger is just for the same thing.
hey if your truck was a crew cab or even a ext cab i'd think it was sweet but there is something wrong with a reg cab being that big. Run some 44's or maybe 46's and i think your truck will look better. Those 49's look too big :imo
How gutless is your truck on those 49s? Mines bad on 40s and im sure yours would get beat by a bicycle 0-60 :anitoof:

He's a true redneck, I guess he was offended that you had cowboy in your name and assumed you were from California  Anyways, I think your truck is pretty sweet, a bit too high for my tastes, and I would have done a few things differently, but its your truck and as long as it does what you built it to do, more power to ya :rocking:

well with the 5.13's i'm ok it's not as slow as everyone thinks.. i love surprizing the ricers that come into town. i have to put a 4-link on the front and rear to get rid of the axle wrap, i didn't have that much with the boggers, but the 49's bite alot on pavement and hard dirt roads. there not all that bad in the mud but nothing beats a bogger off-road

Personally I like it. Dont listen to the haters, you built it for you and you alone. You got guys running 44-49's on big IFS rigs like these H2's somebody posted up the other day :insane: You actually put time and money in your truck by doing the SAS. It is alot smarter/safer than IFS with these size tires. Big props IMO

4 link on the front is a bad idea, you will get nasty nasty bump steer. You need a 3 link so your axle will move in a nice arc.
