window motor help!!

i tried to pull the motor off the regulator while still in the door. i cant get it all the way off or back on now. heres a pic

any advise on removing the motor or whole assembly?

Pull the whole regulator and get the bolts easier once it's out. Not too tough to take out, maybe a 10 minute job. BTW, if you need another window motor I have an extra.

so i just looked in my manual after i yanked this motor down and theres a big disclaimer about not to pull the motor off the black housing thing. ooops. o well i needed a new motor anyway.

I think the only reason for that is because the motor locks into the cable spool, you'll just have to be careful putting the new motor on correctly.
