I sure you guys have gone over this but I am curious. I have an 06 k1500 extracab sb 4x4. I took out the rear block and used 2wd ubolts. I put on 20" akuzas on 275/55/20 coopers. It sits fairly level but, can I loosen the torsion bars to drop it 1" without affecting the alignment? If so how much more than 1" can I go without wreaking havoc?
Thanks

I don't know about the alignment, but when I bought my truck the torsion bars were as unscrewed as much as they can go. I pulled the rear blocks out like you did and the rear is 7/8" higher than the front. How much tire gap do you have with that size tire?

You can lower a 4x4 a lot. Check out GMracers truck

If you adjust the tbars any, I would recommend an alignment.
