Site News: New Sig/Avatar Rules

Hey everyone. Recently we've had some issues with people pushing the envelope with what they stick in their signatures and avatars. Many of us view this site from work, and at times these images can be questionable. I think we often don't realize that if we have 5000 posts, that our signatures and avatars are pasted 5000+ times all over the site. In the end, it cheapens the unique experience our site provides.

As part of our recent efforts to improve GMFS as a whole, we will only be allowing vehicle related signatures starting in 2 weeks from today. During this period, we'll be sending PM's to those that have questionable sigs/avatars. After 2 weeks, we'll be editing these without necessarily giving notice. This editing will be done completely at the discretion of the staff. Off-topic avatars will still be fine, but neither sigs nor avatars can be pornographic/suggestive in nature. Just use good judgement when selecting the images you post in these places.
