even after the changed filter, im still getting a weird smell. im gonna try the lysol trick and see if that works. i cant really describe the smell, i would describe it as sour or something. it doesnt smell like ass or anything. anybody else having this problem?

52485513 for the normal paper one, around $25 bucks

12489479 for a activated carbon one, reduces odors, New Jersey OE, around $50 bucks

An empty void...same shaped "chamber" but no access door. You have to retrofit it. See above

yeah the diesel place guy got pissed that someone read his entire R&D thread and made his own "part"..... I stopped reading the thread after he showed up. Unfortunately I actually tried to convince people it was easier to buy a "kit" from that guy than build your own. After getting a few PMs for the kits(which he was unable to sell on DP) he came over here and started out on me. I have the dimensions and pictures from my original thread saved somewhere.


wow I took a piece of scrap aluminum and drilled a hole in it!
