i spoke to him on AIM yesterday and saw him a couple times over the summer. he never got that 383 tbi to work properly and the tranny just shit out again so hes pretty much completely fed up with that truck and he doesnt want to fix it because he wants to save money to put down on a house. i told him to put a 6.0 in it before he attempted the 383 and boy was i right haha

I remember seeing the pics of your truck and phil's at that sand pit. Seemed like yesterday, but it's been years. time flies.

yes, yes, yes, yes and yes, and then yes some more.

I have actually only taken my truck in the snow once, too much of a hassle for 3-5 people when I can just take the parents burb or crew cab, but I totally want to go mash some pow this winter. It's like the one form of wheeling that I'd be ok with in this truck, a mess that cleans up itself! perfect.

btw how well have the interior painted bits held up?

snow wheelin in the big truck is the most fun part of having it.
i wait up at night during the big blizzards here and go out at like 2am when the roads have a fresh foot of powder on them and there are no other cars and i go blitzing sideways all over the place. blowin through intersections leavin a cloud of white behind me and then i go to the woods and just romp on that bitch like theres no tomorrow.

i took that after i spent a whole night doing just that and mobbing through 5' walls of stacked snow by the plows.

you can go fastest on snow offroad because it packs up smoothly and cuts out all the bumps and ruts that would knock you to pieces at high speeds usually
