Whats up guys Im new to the site but I have been on ls1truck for about 2 yrs. As of now my truck has a 2/3 drop and and im ready for a change!! I live in the boondocks and anytime I go to chill somewhere I have to ride with someone else cuz were either in a pasture or down a muddy dirt road..
I absolutely LOVE the prerunner look!!!! But Im a college student and cant afford the $3000+ for the longtravel suspension right now.. Have any of yall seen a truck with the fenders, bedsides, and just a plain lift? Or will I not beable to fill out the fenders width wise without longtravel? I have spoke with a guy at glassworksunlimited about the fenders but not a lift.. I would just throw a lift and decent size tires on it, but I dont like lookin like everybody else (hense the drop kit to begin with) around my town All help and comments appreciated!! |

just get a wider tire/wheel set up and i am terrible with offsets but if you also get the right offset/backspacing it will put the tire out wide enough it will fill the flared fender and look good. also dont go to tall, real trophy trucks and prerunners arent lifted 6in or more, so just go with 33's and a 3-4in spindle with glass fenders and you'll be set.

four inch blocks are way too big run a 2/3 inch to have some cali lean...You can also run stock z71 shocks in the rear. I wouldn't get those spacers...I have those and my truck does not sit even.
Go with this... http://shop.suspensionmax.com/Shop/C...2661/SFV/32526 |

And by the way, most true mid or long-travel kits don't advertise or sell by the amount of "lift" they give, more likely the amount of travel, most of which is added droop travel too. I've got kind of a "faux-runner" myself, just because I can't afford real 4WD long-travel yet, but here's a quick photo from last month. It has the Glassworks Unlimited fenders and bedsides, etc, etc... ![]() check my thread if you want. 2WD is quite a bit different though, quite a bit cheaper and way easier to upgrade to mid or long-travel in the end... but from what I've noticed, the front hub bearings are way weaker on the 2WD's... | |

How high do you wanna be man?
a four inch spindle will put you around the same height as a stock z71... and around two inches shorter than a leveled nnbs. |
