wtf are you stock flooring this thing or what.
if your not you might as well. since your that far. and go ahead and section the engine crossmember and lower the motor a little and go with a 4" sfbd. they look much better imo

~2.5" BD is to the rockers, right? so a 4" would be half way into the rockers?

2.5-2.75 depending on the truck.
but yes 4" is a little into the rocker. the rockers are huge on those trucks

Yea if I were to lay rocker I'd do 4" also, I think it looks better, tried talking cook into it.

The body drop will only be enough to get the body even with the frame.

looks like he made the cam. focus on that one color... kinda looks like the picture is black and white and the purple or maybe a dark pink is standing out. My ex used to do that shit on her pics... haha

shit looks good though! cant wait to see some more progress

why are you assembling everything that bolts on if your gonna paint or powder coat the frame.
i know you dont want that raw metal under those parts

Okay, well how do you expect to set up the notch with out the axle and suspension there? What about clearing areas for the drive shaft? What about the watts link brakcets that are on the frame? What about making sure the front suspenion setup is going to work 100%? I could keep going and going and going.......but, I am sure others actually understand.

I understand why you'd mock it up, and I'm sure Dave does too. But Just seems like more work to install every nut and bolt and piece. You didnt have to put the bags in, or the canti setup for that matter. Nothing wrong in doing so, just seems like more work installing it, again with ALL the nuts and bolts. However it's looking good, and I can't believe you spent the time to scrape it THAT clean. I would have just sent it out for sandblasting.
