No, just the headers. Which is good for me because I don't need a y-pipe

No, I didn't get headers. I really wanted to do it, but can't spend the $500 on them. I did get a Blackbear tune though. I really like it. The transmission is much better. I must say the truck has got some power, especially 0-60.

Im in line for the Blake Bear tune right now and i cant wait to get it done. Are you runnin the 89, 91 or 93 tune? Still not sure what one i want to do. I also think ill prob hold off on the headers as money sucks and i dont want to loose any lowend.

Get the 93. Its only going to cost you like $6 more to fill up, its worth it.

I noticed quite a bit difference with the CAI ,headers and tune. I wish I would have done that before the lift and tires so I could have had a little more fun before it became a REALLY slow truck. Do the intake, headers and tune, you will be happy with the results. Throw a vette servo in there before the tune as well, chead easy mucho better-o!

EDIT: Just saw this was an older thread, I still stand by my opinion.

*Cognito*Yukon*Detroit*Mickey Thompson*Helo* Vette servo*LPP*Blackbear*

I got the 87 tune. Gas prices are rising and my truck doesn't get good gas mileage as it is. I don't know how much power it makes, mainly you notice a difference in the transmission. It shifts better and is easier to drive. I'm sure though I gained some hp.

see i have a Predator programmer now and it runs good and shifts nice and quick also....i wonder how much of a diff i would see with a BB tune vs just keepin this programmer and callin it good. Not sure its worth spendin the 250+ on the tune when i only spent 130$ on the programmer

From what I've heard their is no comparision. BB tune all the way. He can also delete some or all of your torque management. Don't know alot about it, but after you get it done and you floor it from a dead stop it will spin the tires instead of a delay. Also your chevy is bad tpichevy.
