Default Fabrication and Welding

I don't know if this has already been done, but I'd like to see a thread with pictures of stuff you've fabbed up, or modified, or welded up. I know there is alot of talent on this forum, so show it off!!!

Post up some pics, and some details about it.

I'll post up some pictures of a few things and some of my welds soon as I can remember my photobucket password

Okay, got into my photobucket.

I have a $hit load of pics of stuff I've welded and fabricated since I own a fab shop. Have built a ton of roll cages, but here are a few.

Here are some pics of welds first:

I'll try and get some tom at work. It will be completely opposite of anything posted. I'm a Steamfitter so my pics will look like a cluster of pipe all around. I have some pics of some 1/2 stainless i welded the other day.

There was a welding thread too.

here is a shot of my one garage

i built the full body for this car 13 sheets of aluminum, and many many hours later

i biuld industrial machinery aswell like this

i need to find the before pictures of this, but we bought it for 55 bucks in a field, built all the body but the roof, its an original gremlin shell, that was rotten and repaired, but the frame off right before the motor and build it outselves, and cut it behind the rear tires to mount the new rear in the car. also we fabbed the headers

Looks good everyone. I'm going through school next year for welding. Is there any tips or tricks that you have? I'd be making a career out of it if possible.

Practice as much as you can. Fabrication is fun stuff to do since its not really monotonous. Welding the same parts over and over again gets boring.

It's not really an automotive fab., but it consist of some automotive parts. It's a resistance workout sled that I built with the help of my former boss @ his shop. It helped me a ton in preparation for several fire department's physical agility test and to maintain overall fitness. Plus, it's fun to use:

Not undercut, perfectly spaced filler, good throat for the material. Solid stuff, I'm jealous.

WOW! Thanks Kyle that means alot coming from you!

I wished I had more time behind a bender where I could be as profecient as yourself. No benders where I am currently working now. I just don't have the equipment at home to do much of anything. I think I am going to start to built some adjustable LCA's and UCA's for my XJ though. And then maybe some bumpers, just not sure on what to build. I want to do round tube prerunner style, but just might end up doing some easy square tube who knows.

Rest In Peace JASON
