Instead of using seam sealer, I used a product called panel boned for added
strength because I didnt weld the notch cover in solid, but did alot of steroid
tacks. Then undercoat.
Yeah there is alot of things I would like to do to the truck.
Like shaved tail lights, tailgate, door handles, gas lid, new bumper,
Roll pan, body drop, kp 6link, interior work, and much more.
The only reason I shaved the stake pockets is because it looked like
someone tried to force a 2X4 in it.
Its a time and money thing or just more money than time.
But I'll say what I say to everyone else, as polite as possible,
that say "You Should."
"You buy I build" (no hard labor envolved to you, I'll do all the work.)
never said "you should" just said i figured you would have sense other things shaved, but you explained that about stake pockets.. none the less will be clean im sure
looks good. I need body finishing experience like you have. I wish I knew someone close to me. I'm new to all metal work.
Thanks. yeah I didn't think I would get into body work myself, I just always wanted to be a painter.
Now I just do body work and paint on the side.

Thanks again. I started working on the truck in april and it has only taken me 8 months to get this far, but feels like a couple of years. I guess its because I only worked on it 2-3 hours a day 3
days a week and every other weekend. Had to keep the family happy and be home sometimes.
