Default ? for Cornell

How do you get the fuel filter off of the LB7? I can't get a wrench on there to turn it. I would appreciate any advice.

Pull the fender liner down and use a big waterpump plier. You only have to pull a couple of the plastic things to make the center of the liner come down enough.

I know the lb7 is tighter there but I thought you could still get a strap wrench on it.

I've only done it once and the dealership did it another time because there was a recall on the filters. Pretty much what Nick said, oh and once you replace it, cut the old one open and see whats in there. You my have to take a trip to an autoparts store or a stealership because those clips break pretty easy, at least mine have. Heres a how-to thread from Dieselplace, its worth it to sign up if your not already a member there. Some good info

Remember to bleed it. Also have you posted up any pictures of your D-max?
