Cepek vs. RCX

damnit!

i'm confused as fuck as to what kit to order? bryant sent me a pm sayin that i would have to crank my t-bars to get up to the 6" of lift whereas i know the cepek is a true 6.5" diff. drop and can be cranked to 8" if neccesary. i had planned on runnin the same set up as phil eventually but i'm not sure with the RCX kit i would be able to do so

i just want my truck to sit as high as possible w/o sacrificing my cv's. if the cognito kit were still avail. i'd wait and buy it

then go with cepek. Look at phils. Looks great.

if you want to go as big as poss, go w/ the cepek.

that being said, if you want a great lift and save a couple hundred dollars get the RCX.

There's no way you could run 20x10s on 38"s with the RCX...

Go big or go home, if you got the cash...

i don't have the cash at this moment (still waiting on quote for the stage I kit from jon) but i can wait another 2-4 weeks if i need to. i've waited this long now, what's it goin to hurt to wait a few extra days?

The Cepek kit is a full drop. its gonna drop ur diff, upper control arms and lower control arms 6.5". and you could then crank on top of that about 1.5" yea.

Ive always heard good things about cepek, but i could foresee running into front driveshaft issues with the full drop of the kit, whereas for the RCX u arent going to have any problems whatsoever, since teh diff is dropped less.

ur only gonna be able to run 35s on the rcx, but you could squeeze those 38s on the cepek...tho i wouldnt advise it.

your wrong...it's a full drop kit..try again...atleast mine is..do u have the new lift?

WOOOPS my bad. Ur right the RCX is a full drop too. i thought it was a knuckle kit like the 99-06

no worries, just dont want bad/wrong info passed around. a lotta people dog the RCX lift, but it's a great lift for the price

i think it would still work if you got the rcx. look at bubba's 4 door hoe he has 38.5 nasties with a 6+3

You could easily clear 38s with an rcx cranked up and a 3in bl. My bros truck with a 2in bl and the rcx kit cranked a lil was wayyyyy over the top of his 36s and 20s.
