No way it is still AWD. There isn't even enough room for the motor. He is going to have to make a custom Ram Air it looks like, because i don't think he will get a tube to curve before the hood latch without smashing it.

he has a build on NASIOC about the car. its not AWD anymore. He had that same motor in a RWD swapped civic before he got bored and wanted it in the wrx. All my wrx buddies had a good laugh at it and i stated it was even more proof the LSx is the best motor ever cause it fits in everything

Meh. If it were mine I would have been cutting out that cowl to get the motor sitting back farther. Half the motor is in front of the front tires.

Cool swap, but backwards in engineering for scubs. those cars where so well rounded, but that thing is just for braggin rights now

Its cool but I would rather have a build boxer motor and AWD still keep the balance of the car that way.

I can garauntee that thing is slower than a equally modified STI... "cool" but stupid and impractical. LS motors are not the answer to everything
