What to do with my 2006 Silverado?
Hey everyone, I could use your help and or suggestions on something. I have been trying to trade my 2006 in on a newer Silverado for the past couple of months. I've had no luck since i owe more than the truck is supposedly worth, and so it looks like I will be holding on to it for a few more years. It just turned 116,000 miles and it has been doing ok, but i'm wondering what should I be looking at doing as far as maintenance or service on the truck to keep it running good and dependable. I havent changed plugs in it yet, so i'm guessing maybe that might be one thing. I put 20,000 miles on average a year. I bought the truck on 2007 with 47,000 on it. Any help is appreciated. 2008 Silverado Z71 LTZ 5.3L Black CC is my daily driver. My weekend cruise is a 1970 Nova 355 SB Alcohol Inj. w/ full Alston cage and 350 Tubo trans w/ 5000 stall converter. 12 bolt rearend w/ 5:13 gears. Best time so far 10.98 @ 125 MPH. Mileage = 3gals per 1/4mile!
