Default gauge cluster with trans temp gaugh

I have a 2007 classic 1500 with the 5.3L in it and the current gauge cluster doesnt have a trans temp gauge and i was wondering what is needed to make a gauge cluster with a trans temp gauge work in my truck. thanks!

as far as i know i think its just getting the new gauge cluster and plugging it in...

^this is true they are prewired..escalade clusters already have the temp guage

is it possible to solder in a stepper motor into the stock cluster if i have gauge faces with a trans temp spot?

People sell kits on eBay to add your own trans temp gauge to your cluster so in guessing that it's possible.
