Default 2005 GMC Yukon Denali lowering kit options

Hello,

I'm new to the forum and looking for advice on which lowering kit to purchase for my 2005 Yukon Denali. I run 22" wheels throughout most of the year; however, living in MN I run my stock 17" during the winter months. I just purchased new Bilstein/Arnott Rear Air Shock replacements and would like to drop my truck at the same time I swap the shocks. After reading as much as I can I like the McGuaghy's 2/3 Deluxe Drop Kit - Part# 33047.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the guidance/information,

Troy

anything McG is well worth it ive used them for about 4 yrs now and never had any problems and the crew they have is extremely knowledgeable and helpful....the only thing i would recommend is get a higher end shock to get a"close to stock" ride quality....

Troy
to be perfectly honest if u run 2s with a small tire i think ull be disappointed u should go with at LEAST a 3/5 if not a 4/8 but since u drive in alot of snow i would go 3/5!!!! just my opinion

Let me know if you want a price on the Belltech kit.

Thanks Kris!

Please price out the full kit for me. I would like spindles versus keys for the front and I think I'd like to stay with the 2/3 kit. (I run 45's on 22's so it's probably best based on Dave's early recommendation.)

Could you also break down the the benefits of Belltech over McGuaghy?

Thanks for your help,

Troy

Spindles will ride a lot better than keys.

The McG kit you posted is spindles, coils and shock re-locators. With the Belltech 759SP you would get Spindles, Coils and Street Performance shocks. Since Belltech shocks are ordered by the height of the truck, shock extensions are not needed. The Belltech spindle however requires you to use a 17" larger wheel. The Belltech coil springs have been known to ride a bit softer than others on the market. Belltech shocks hands down are the best.

I will do Belltech's 759 kit for $449.99 or Belltech's 759SP for $620
