Default new brakes - cross-drilled and slotted

my old rotors were warped so i decided to get a little upgrade. the OEM ones cost more than these anyways. they are the Baer DecelaRotors, and i got some Hawk ferro carbon brake pads. the tahoe stops a lot smoother and faster now. nothing too exciting, but i thought i'd share.

they look really cool behind my wheels, but i can't get a good picture with my cell phone. oh well.

I've been looking into doing that very soon after my 20's get mounted. I know it isnt too expensive, plus it looks hella better than stock shit.

I really want to do that just because I think it's bullshit that GM put drums on the 06s

rotors and pads together ran me around $250 shipped. these are just for the fronts, i still have the dirty drums in the back. they make conversion kits, but be prepared to throw down some cash.

Are those stock size cross drilled or did you go bigger? I want to change to the Baer system that's why I'm asking.

these are stock size because i'm running 16s. i think you need at least 17" rims to go bigger.
