These were the new axles from moser, they were 4" shorter. I had to send them to get an additional 8.5" taken out for my new wheels, which you will see in this post
Went with a 2 piece drive shaft instead of the one piece. Also, if you didn't notice at the beginning, my Avalanche was a Z71, meaning 4x4. I converted the transmission over to a 2 wheel drive. Also the new carrier bearing bracket was fabricated as well..
The original air box for the AC was fabricated to be used with the 28s. Yes, I will still have full heat & AC. I went with Vintage air (aftermarket) system instead, mainly because of the custom controls lol..
