Repairing or replacing eBay OBS tow mirror front LEDs

I'm looking for information on how to fix or replace the front facing LEDs in my eBay towing mirrors.

The passenger side has the outermost 4 LEDs dead in the water. I've taken the mirror apart, but the LED housing is a sealed unit.

I've contacted the seller, and of course they were less than helpful lol.

So, anyone find the parts manufacturer that sells just components?

Let's hear some helpful suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Check out my build thread. There's two circuits in there. Looks like one circuit is bad, either a bad trace on the PCB, or any of the 4 LEDs and one resistor is bad. You'll have to melt the lens off. Just stick in in the oven at ~150-200 and check it every couple minutes until you're able to pry it apart. Will go back together with silicone or jb weld.

Dude, thank you so much!
This is extremely helpful!
I guess I will try to heat up that glue to pry the lens off. I tried prying it off at room temperature, but had zero luck and I didn't want to break it. So then I started looking online to find a new module, also with no luck.
Now that I can see how it comes apart, I will try this route.
I'll post back if I run into any snags or have any questions.

Measure the resistance of the resistors. They should both be roughly the same. Most likely you'll see something visually. you can check the continuity of the wire connection, it's probably that.

Thank you for the help! I ended up taking the lens apart, and found a burnt out LED. I got a replacement and soldered it in and all is well again! :)
