Going to be installing wheel spacers tomorrow morning. Question is do you use loctite on the spacer to hub? Or just install without and keep torque often.
Quick queston... anyone notice how the NNBS trucks axle isn't centered? Sticks out more on passenger side by 1" or so.... My 07 NNBS CCSB and my buddies 08 GMC NNBS CCSB are the same never noticed it. Might run a spacer to even it out
Well they are on. All I had was red loctite so I barely put any on, like half a drop.
Went for a drive and had a vibration the first mile or two up front. Then it went away, kind of weird it just stopped. Will be retorquing everything tomorrow.
Truck looks great now with the body lift and spacers.
Reason I said blue was I feel like in the event you need to take em off you might have trouble gettin them hot enough to break loose without melting the aluminum spacer.
I haven't melted anything. You don't need loctite anyway. I melted a bolt in my hub before the red loctite let loose. It was a valid thought considering theyre down in a hole surrounded by aluminum.
Well I hardly used any red loctite. I know I can remove the lug nuts like normal with the amount I used.
