Post up a picture of an nnbs with a static drop. Post yours, your friends, your favorite or all of the above. Give the drop and tire size if you have it. Feel free to add before and after shots. And also what you used to drop it.

Welp.. time to tackle this 5/7 drop today. Hopefully we don't run into any unexpected snags. I'll take some before and after pics. The wheels won't be mounted until next week, forgot to order TPMS sensors.

Thanks man, its a 6/9 drop. It rubs a little right now. It was bad when i first put them on. Had to roll the rear fender lips and cut quite a bit of the drivers side fender liner out but now it only rubs on big dips or bumps. Im gonna try to make enough room so it doesnt rub at all but itll be tough on these 295/30s. Once i get my on board air ran for my helpers, that will help a lot.

Does it rub on the rear of the fender well? Nnbs and k2 trucks the mlre you lower the front it pushes the wheel back more. Do you have a picture straight from the side. I would like to see the front wheel

put stock hangers and shackles back on

idk if they work "up side down" Youd have to ask the manufacturer. What shackles are you running? If you have 6400s, going to a 6700 will drop you an inch.

McGaughys adjustable kit #34070 (3/5-5/7") WITHOUT the notch. I just went all the way down from the start. On the stock 20" LTZ wheel and tire combo I had a decent amount of rubbing both front and back. It also knocked the frame against the axle on the smallest bumps, definitely not something I'd consider leaving as is.

After the alignment, the front was 100x better but the rear still rubbed at the top of the wheel well. I massaged it a small bit, then threw the 22" combo on which actually gained clearance on both the wheel wells and the frame/axle with the 285/40's. This is how it sits currently. It's still not notched, and very rarely the frame hits the axle, mainly on bigger bumps that I don't see. Drive with any common sense and it doesn't hit at all. I will probably still notch it just for good measure, along with throwing some helper bags for when I occasionally tow the Jeep sitting behind it.

Overall though, I'm very pleased with this combo and have no issues daily driving it as is. This thread was great for guys new to these trucks such as myself. I don't see myself getting bored with this truck any time soon. Turbo plans are already in motion ;)

I don't understand how it rarely hits with a 7 inch drop. With a 9 on mine, it sat on the frame, I notched it and the truck sat lower. I brought it back up to 7 inches and it now sits at the level of the frame, not in the notch. My concern now is the driveshaft getting cut by the frame, which I already cut about an inch out of. Would have gotten rid of it all together but the fuel tank is mounted to it.

I couldn't tell you why or how, just speaking from my personal experience. How tall of a tire are you running? Like I said, that made a night and day difference in my truck. My wife can drive it and have no issues with it hitting with ease. I'll be glad to snap some pictures when its not single digit temps and snow outside lol.
