Thanks, I've been looking for a truck with this configuration for over a year. It is replacing my 2004 Sierra single cab regular bed, with a V6 and a 5 speed manual. I was my Dad's, he used to say it was a "Man's truck", manual windows, manual locks, manual mirrors, manual transmission LOL
You'll have to drive all the way across the country to get it... I take it from your location (Location:Where the Bath Salts flow freely!) that you're in FL somewhere, right?
Double cabs are a dime a dozen here where I'm at. Dealerships just about give them away, $200.00 a month or less on the leases. You see 20 double cabs to 1 crew cab when you drive around here.
Crew cab is longer by almost a foot, in both overall length and WB. Every parking lot here only has what used to be "Compact" parking spots, and the "Compact" spots now only fit smart cars.
Also, I'm a single guy with my daughter moved out, so the back is more for storage and carrying stuff I don't want to put in the bed where it can get stolen, think dirt bike gear bag, duffle bag for a week's worth of clothes when I take off in the cold weather to hit up the desert in southern AZ/Baja area, tools, guns, etc.
I borrowed a friend's CCLB for a week, just not a good fit for my area. He says he always has to park in BFE at every parking lot (if there are any spaces available) and take 2 spaces, and hike in. We are also known as one of the very worst areas for bad drivers in the nation.
Sorry in advance if anyone is triggered by the BFE reference, I'm not too politically correct unless I happen to be working at the time.
Hey, while I'm here, what fuel filter is best? I read a bunch of threads here that say Wix is the best, and a bunch of other folks saying Wix sucks and they had big problems. Every one of those threads is like 4 years old.
The "Change fuel filter" warning just came on this afternoon.
I run a GM filter at the stock location. Baldwin on my lift pump. Has worked great so far.
And lol at parking a CCLB is tough.... I specfically take my little ford ranger if I know I have anything to do in downtown that day. My LBZ is a land yacht.

I really wish GM made a version lol Almost got one when I bought my NBS. Tundra has their version too
