I have an 02 Silverado 1500 LS discs on front and back.

The brakes are in major need of replacing. I am running 24" tires with 245/35 Tires. I do a lot of highway miles and hate brake dust. I would like to treat my truck to something nice. my budget is no more then $600 red color cal's would be nice. it seems like every time I search I see "power stop kc1544" but not a lot of reviews on these... Tell me from your personal experience what you think!

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Any real brake upgrade, like Baer is gonna be at least double your budget.

Check out some vendors on this forum, otherwise, I've used R1 Concepts and got a full set of rotors and pads for under $500

I did the SUV brake upgrade with the green pads on my 01 1500 and love them. Stops the 37s way better than it did before on the original pads/rotors. Was probably around 500$ total I guess for all the parts then install myself.

Even with factory 16" wheels? If so, that's good to know.

Get the power stop powder coated calipers for a 2005 Silverado with rear drum brakes. They are the bigger calipers and require the 13" rotor. That's what I have with the power stop ceramic cf pads along with SUV rear calipers and ac delco ceramic pads. Stops better than it did new. But you must have 17" wheels to clear the front calipers.
