Just got this about three months ago and I've been having a few problems mainly the transmission case keeps cracking and I think its due to not have some sort of support to the rear axle but ima not sure any guesses[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Well there should be a crossmember under the tail of the transmission. Definitely will cause issues if it's not there.

You are talking about trac bars and they are not factory nor needed unless your trying to run at the strip or do some sweet rolling burnouts.

All I really know is this is the third time the transmission case has cracked in the three months I've owned it and it's just been on the road

This is what I've seen will it stop the problems that aim having or could it be that the drive shaft might be to long[IMG]

He just told you what they were. How are your powertrain mounts?

Either you drive like a complete asshole or whoever did the work sucks. Traction bars are not going to make a difference. My guess is you have something causing your drive train to twist. Look at your motor. Mounts.

There are hundreds of trucks running no track bars that have never broke a t case

Ian really easy on it due to this is my first truck/car that I have ever owned and would that mean if everything checks out under the hood that I would need a new lift kit

Change all your mounts. Something is fucked up under there.

Any vibration from unbalanced driveshaft? Pinion angles correct? I would change both motor mounts and transmission mount to start... do you think this is why previous owner sold the truck?

Where is it cracking at? Is it the transmission cracking or the transfer case?

Wonder if the truck was in an accident and that is why they painted it with that God awful fire
