Indeed you did, but I think the smoked/candied tails help the white plastics' look. Once he gets clear red it'll be too much bright and not an even contrast.

But hell, I may be wrong again...

All things said, it still looks great!

White rear bumper plastics look good.

Fuck those led tails. You've painted so many pieces multiple times already, quit being a bitch and candy your stock set.

I thought about that but don't want it to look like a Z71. I know the valance is different but same concept. Plus the bumper looks huge to me when it's all white. The front one does anyways.

Convinced the wife we "needed" this one. Actually do though, the stock muffler is splitting and starting to leak. I hope this setup isn't too loud. I went with the middle sized Magnaflow.

Curious to see how the SUV drone is with that Magnaflow dumped. :hmm:

My knock off 1-chamber with a 3" tailpipe exiting in the stock location sounds good to me.... But, with the family riding along, the interior resonance gets to be a bit much at times.

I may end up going with a Magnaflow next time.... Although, I do have SI/DO 1-chamber new in the box I was gonna use when this one rotted out. Oh well...

I'm very pleased with my Magnaflow 12259. Little to no drone while cruising and sounds great when you push the skinny pedal.

Running the exhaust Dumped under the body of the burb, even behind the rear axle, will probably drone a bit.

The plan is to run it to the stock location. That 45 degree section will replace the dual out section off the stock muffler and tie back into the section that goes over the axle. From there it will exit to the side like normal. I'll eventually have a full 3" mandrel bent section but not now.

    Gotcha!

I remember you mentioning dumping after the axle....

I ran a SI/DO short body Magnaflow on the wife's old Yukon with the stock tailpipe. It sounded good under acceleration.... with some drone inside at certain rpms. But, while cruising at highway speeds it was fine.

That magnaflow will sound great. I got kit 15666 for my old Yukon for $385 all stainless. It fit very well except my rusted flange bolts I knocked out for stainless. Minimal drone around 2200 rpm and muffler used in kit was 14579 or 12579 for brushed.

This is the 12249 18" stainless 3" single in/out. Not really a dual exhaust fan.

Looks like pretty much the same muffler yours was just 4" longer. I'm at 2,000 rpm at 70mph with the 3.73s/33s. I watched some YouTube videos on the SUV drone and it didn't really seem to be a big factor until the cats are deleted. I listened to one with ORY, long tubes, 3" stainless with a Spintech dual out and it sounded mean as hell but settled down around 60mph.

Yeah I ran stock manifolds and cats. It was 3.73/33 right around 2000-2200 about 70 mph you hear a little. Above and below are all good. A dual rolled tip like this would look sweet on it in my opinion.
