Id be looking into doing a lot more than just worrying about a flare being ripped off.
Decided I would post a little update of what's going on with myself and the truck. So I've been laid off of my construction job since December so the trucks kinda been at a standstill, but I start back up next week so new things will happen to it. I plan on ordering some wheels and tires and changing up a few things on the truck now. I've also been given the opportunity to buy a friends 02 5 speed cummins for a ridiculously low price so Im most likely gonna pick that up soon and keep the Chevy as well. Another update will follow once the cash starts flowing!
Hey guys! It's been quite some time since I've posted here. Kind of lost interest in the truck after being busy with work and school but I've got motovation to get the truck looking right again. I attached a couple pictures of how the truck sits as of now, not much has changed. Tomorrow I am planning on doing some color matching with the mirror caps, front valence, and possibly the chrome grill trim. I was bored tonight and painted one of the mirrors chrome caps, and it turned out decent for 5 mins of sanding and rushing coats. Plus painting in 40 degree weather didn't help! Pics to follow once I get everything done tomorrow
Another pic of how it sits now
Pretty happy how the valence and mirrors turned out! I think the grill is next for paint matching. And some clear headlights
Would look great with non tow mirrors
I agree! I want to run the stock mirrors paint matched but I absolutely love how much you can see with the tow mirrors so I am torn! We will see
Meh I feel you can see more with the standard mirrors. It's basically the same surface area just mounted further out
I like your truck. It takes a bunch of time to get one right a little at a time. I work construction, too, so I know all about lean times in the winter. Keep it up!
Leave grill the way it is!! The chrome on the grill flows well with the bumper. I would CM the bowtie.
Thanks for the input guys I appreciate it! Definitely a work in progress. Unfortunately in the last few months I haven't been posting I've put close to 3k into the truck on repairs which held up my wheels and tires lol but hopefully I can get back on track
Paint matched valence and mirrors, along with door molding removed Happy with how it came out!
Front bumper almost screams "Iron Man." I'm digging it.
Hahahah now that's all I'm gonna think about when I look at it Thanks man
Really liking the overall look, but when are those wheels going on craigslist lol
And I use to own a set lol
I just posted them for sale actually lol! Picking up 20x12s on Sunday
