i remember reading that people used doorhandles from the rear doors for the front and i wanted to double check if the handles i have will work on my doors of my extended cab. i dont want to have them painted and then they dont work.
driver side on the left and i have a rear passenger side on the right.

    You got it.
Just get the pin out and the spring & latch will come out.
Just swap with front door handle hardware. Done.

in the ones i have pictured, the driver side has a keyhole. the passenger side is the one that is from the rear door. so i will be just fine if my remote stops working.:bleh: now that i look closely i see how the pin comes out. thanks.

Hey just giving everyone a heads up, i know the white door handles are hard to find, there's currently 2 sets on ebay for 100$ and 110$. That's a lot cheaper than you can normally find. They expire in like 20minutes. Check it out! I got mine from him yesterday for 100$. Can't wait to put them on.

Glad this write up was up here. I would have never had the sack to change my own handles, but with the write up it was easy as can be.

Does anyone have a picture of the window panel wiring (front)? I put everything back together, but now my radio shuts off when I turn my key off (but windows and everything still work like they should). I'm thinking it maybe something to do with that.
