Need input. Want to lower my reg cab (2016 Stamped steel Control Arms). Plan on running stock 20s and stock 275/55/20 Michelins, and still be able to drive it like I stole it without tire rub. Perfect drop seems to be a 2/4. Problem is I tow an 18' open car hauler and occasionally motors/etc in the bed. Doing my homework. One solution is the Belltech 2" spindle and 4" flip kit and shackle. http://www.belltech.com/catalog/pro...e-alumi-stamped-control-arm-1011/category/20/ Then plan to run something like Air Lift's "Slam Air" supplemental air bag kit to handle the towing load. https://www.airliftcompany.com/products/air-springs/slamair/ Opinions? Anyone run something close? Ideas? The other issue is that this truck rides rough. I had a 2000 RCSB that had a much smoother ride than this. Changing shocks help or is it just my leaf springs..? Basically it's rough as f*** and still has a ton of body roll. McGaughy's make a 2" Drop spring leaf spring with leafs removed / 2" Shackle without doing a flip kit. https://www.suspensionsuperstore.co...rms-2-4-deluxe-leaf-drop-kit-mcgaughys-34300/ I imagine this would be much smoother but how would it affect my towing. They are NO help. Both McGaughy's and Belltech's tech line guys were assholes and didnt want to help. I'd still run the air bag kit but would having less leaves still work?? And why are the McGaughy's kits so much more than Belltech? McGaughy's instructions are complete crap and their service isnt good, so...wtf. All help appreciated.
