Now I've got to start polishing.

When I talked to the seller, he said they were chrome, not polished

Interesting... They look like polished aluminum and not chrome.
(They very well could be chrome... I as long as they look nice I don't care)

He told me minimal pitting on the chrome, was a little iffy

But for the $300 he wanted for them it's a steal

True story... Heck with just some soap and water last night they are run-able. Not exactly show truck stuff but they'd work.

They are chrome. Bit of pitting here and there. Probably clean up acceptable for a "driver".

    Now what?

    Have dipped and re-chrome?
    Have dipped and PC black?
Slap some Toyo MTs on em and run it?

I have a set of chrome velocities that pitted in the creases of the rims. I cleaned them up and polished over those spots and they look fine. I'd just run em, rechrome is expensive, at least in ny.
