I have a 2012 Silverado LS with the manual climate controls and I want to purchase the Alpine Restyle 9" kit that fits perfect to my dash except it has digital climate control, iv read its expensive and hard to switch to digital from manual, but how hard/easy would it be if possible to swap out the digital to manual? Seems like it's the same size (the knob panel) so would it be possible to just replace it completely and keep the wiring the same?
The restyle kits are stupid expensive. I don't know about swapping between digital/manual in that truck, but I know in NBS it's not the same plug or harness and the BCM is different so you can't just swap them. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the same case with NNBS.
Yes that's why I'm thinking of keeping my harness and just talking out the digital controls and putting my stock manual controls in its place on the Restyle , as long as it fits right which I'm sure (hope) it does
