is my GMC 54 or 55?

    I was wondering if anyone could help decipher my build plate on my granddad's 54/5 GMC?
    Any help is appreciated. 55 GMC  plate .jpg

    Using that link, I would think it was a 1954.That link makes it sound like GMC changed the way they listed chassis in 1955. But as mentioned in the link, back then they didn't put emphasis on each year model, just the chassis model that didn't see much change across model years. I believe GM started using "model years" around 1960 when those models came out & they got little minor changes with each passing year.

    Those are body nos.serial& etc were on the drs Dr. Jam.
