Question LSA Blower Boost District

    Called fleet runner because they are for big trucks, i think the one i use is for a peterbilt..lol.

    Make sure you find out where to hook the wideband so blackbear can see it, will be easier to tune. For the shift points, see where they are and tell him what to adjust. Oh and a cam and high flowing exhaust would really wake it up.

    So the heat exchanger and trans cooler,, pump, Reservoir, and PVC catch can are all mounted.

    I did not get the tune files needed from black bear this weekend. They sent me tune for using the lsa maf not the stock truck one.

    It is installed, I need 6 inch fuel line extension and to make sure my break out harness is correct, then load the tune and fire it up.

    nope, maybe latter, i just want to drive this thing.
    The MAF IAT break out harness was wired wrong and it put 12V on the IAT frying it.
    I need a new IAT sensor and air intake.

    The AFM and such will be removed when i put a new cam in.

    So overall how would you say the install went? Were there instructions or was it pretty straight forward? And how happy are you with the performance gains?

    Installation was pretty easy other than bleeding the coolant pump.
    Still working on performance with black bear performance. But even at 1/2 throttle it scoots damn quick.

    Where'd you get the fuel line extension? I'm running an lsa on my '10, if you've got any questions I'd be happy to answer them. I'm about to pulley down and have my brick sent off to be reinforced. Also: if youre running a maf tune you're not gonna want to run a vent on your catch can, unless youre just vented to atmosphere and not pulling vacuum from the blower. It will throw your metered air off.

    I got it from a local hose maker in Glendale AZ. I can send contact info. I made a junker and took it to him to make a new one.
    How did you tune yours after the Lsa?
    I am having a terrible time getting timely responses from my email tuner. I towed this weekend and it went nuts
    No EVAP or PVC connected . It threw a p1101 and p0101 leaned way out, lost power. I had to let off and downshift manually and slow down to keep the A/F safe.
    I hate to walk away from my tuner after spending over $500 and have to go to a Dyno tuner.

    Did you do a data logging tune with black bear? I would have guessed that they should have been able to get it pretty close with a couple data logs.

    Could you l email you my EFI log file for your opinion? I probable wont hear back from BBP till late this week.

    Chuck's Speed and RV can tune it but that will be another $600 $1000 and I wont get my money back from BBP.

    I removed the vent filter on the catch can and plugged it. I have not connected the PCV or Evap yet untill i figure out this MAF problem
