Make sure you tighten the hell out of that clamp. I had a tip similar to that dumped on my old truck and the thing fell off on a dirt road, then the dipshit behind me decided to swerve and run it over.

This is how I have it right now, it's only at that stupid angle because the exhaust shop bent it that way instead of it being straight like it is from the factory, but it's tightened and it's not gonna fall off, trust me, going to have the tailpipe redone so it's straight down instead of the angle it is right now. But for now I can live with it, also sounds really nice now

Looks good. I have the same tip. I tightened the hell outta my clamp too bc I was afraid it would fall off like my last one did on my old truck. Plan to weld it eventually. Will look really good once u get angle fixed as you stated.

Picked up some brakes from a 02 tahoe z71 for $40 so I can do the bigger brake mod from the 00-06 suv's. Nice thing about the z71's is they got even thicker rotors from the standard suv's 28mm vs the z71 30mm. Painting them with some black caliper paint so they don't look like ass. Also going to do the 05+ upgrade once I find something to steal the brakes off of.

Did the extended cab rear seat fold down mod, going to mount my Amps on the wall as well. More room back there than I expected, could put a shot gun back there.
Going to be doing my rear brake swap tonight too

Looks good. I tackled my easy raise the rear bumper 1.5" mod tonight and it took me 2.5 hours lol. Wife came out and asked if I knew it would be so "involved"...didn't offer to help either.

Damn lol, I hear that those rear bumpers can be a pain to get off sometimes, that's the only thing I'm not looking forward to doing when I do the zone 1.5

I did the SUV brake upgrade on my 99' RCSB as well. When it got totaled I kept all the rear brake parts. Now I bought a SUV.... Got spares now!

I used the Silverado kit so I assumed the brackets would work...not so much. I had to do a little modification but it's good to go. Looks so much better. Slapped some new tails on too I'll post some pics in my thread tomorrow.
