Dark blue mettalic looks pretty good with black plastics in my book. Are you planning on getting new wheels? Lml rims would go perfect with your truck.

33s are on the list. Not sure i want to keep these 17s forever so they might wait until I get some different rims.

Just ordered the 3 inch lift spindles (knuckles?) off amazon. Im looking at rear spacers and there is a .75" spacer and a 1.5" spacer. Any advice which would be the better choice? Will the .75" look okay with the lift up front? Either way itll all get shelved until I have my wheels squared away so if I need to read up more I have the time.

Also I posted a photoshop request if anyone has any suggestions. Kinda looking for input on color. Once it warms up Im going to order some vinyl and try diy wrapping the burb.

Thanks for all the constructive criticism so far, thats how my truck is going to get better. Keep it coming!

If you want it to sit level the 1.5 rear / 3 front will do that.

Nice looking 'burb. You have a good start and idea on what you want.

IMO the best thing right now to clean up the look is remove the flares! Then paint/wrap the hood. And then just drive it and save money to upgrade suspension, rims and tires.

Got the 1.5" rear spacers coming.

Here are a few pics before I put the flares on, from when I did the front end.

They're for sale all over up here for 1000 bucks and less depending on tire condition. I even found a set of 18s for 150 the other day.

Ditched the flares everyone hated. Everyone on this fine forum was far too much of a gentleman to tell me throw the running boards, but this morning at the gas pump an elderly lady got out of her warm car in the 7 degree weather and walked three pumps over to tell me how much she liked my "cowboy cadillac":puke:

Made me think "well shit, if old ladies like my truck I must be doing something very very wrong" :shitsweak:

Well either way you guys were right it does look better without them. They might go back on once I do paint and lift.
